Initiated three (3) major research directions:

�humanoid robots, cooperative robotics and biomorphs

• A number of robots were developed along these three (3) core research areas.
• Emphasis along design and innovation were the key aspects associated with.
• These robots have been utilized along various research directions, and in addition they have been widely used by the Department during outreach activities and to showcase the Department’s core activities to visitors.
• These robots have been demonstrated in several places outside Singapore upon invitation.
